The OC Book Fair was a literary extravaganza bringing together talented local writers and internationally acclaimed authors in the heart of Old Town Tustin. A collaborative effort of indie bookstores across Southern California, the fair featured elaborate, curated booths from all of your favorite shops in addition to small and large publishers from around the Country showcasing their catalogues. Visitors were able to participate in panels, readings, book signings, and workshops throughout the day, and we personally hosted a few authors at our booth for signings: Bruce Cameron, Michael Scott Moore, and Tom Zoellner.
The Book Fair was hosted by Arvida Book Co. Owner Sam Robertson & co-directed with Lido Village Books' Owner Michelle Pierce. It was a really beautiful day to help bring to life! Our team also participated in a few panels as moderators:
If you weren't able to make it, you can still shop some of the authors we hosted in panels and signings that day.
We’re already working to put together an even more exciting fair for you next year — Volume 2 — and hope you’ll be able to come out and enjoy it with us! Keep an eye on updates here or follow the OC Book Fair on Instagram.
The Book Fair is a nonprofit if you are interested in donating or becoming a sponsor. Or email events@theocbookfair.org if you’d like to get involved for next year!
Thanks for looking back with us, and we’re so excited to spend the fall with you in the shop and at upcoming events. More information in the monthly newsletter, but follow Lido Village Books or Malibu Village Books on Instagram for daily updates about events and what to read next.
