Hi Lido Friends & Family Community ~
I don’t know about you, but I love spending the evenings at the bookstore. There’s something about sweeping the floors when the air is chilly, the streets are quiet, & our window lantern lights glitter in the night beckoning those to step inside. It’s as if the “fall back” time change is the key to bringing winter season Holiday magic.
As our yearly programs come to an end this month (and resume back in January), we have many fun Holiday events & evenings coming your way (stay tuned for our Paint & Sip Night in December). So keep scrolling to the end of this email to see all that we have in store for you this month!
On November 19th, to celebrate the PubDate of Billy Collins’ new poetry collection: Water Water, we will be putting a 1 day “GiveAway” together on Substack & Instagram. The winner will receive a pair of tickets for Billy Collins ‘In Conversation’ w/ Paul Holdengraber on January 13, 2025 (tickets are generously donated by The Segerstrom Center for the Arts).
My friends, I hope you get the opportunity to stop by the bookstore one evening and take in the magic it is offering. After all “Books Are Magic” and it is so much fun to share them with you.
