Dear Lido,
April flew by & May has appeared with all the assurance that Summer is just around the corner. Are you ready for it? The promise of long, lazy sunshine-y days on your favorite beach - cool evenings with camp fires, smores & starry skies - the endless beach reads or summer love reads…whatever your favorite summer reading experience, we got you & we have all the hottest books to read!
To all those who participated in our survey back in February and March - Thank YOU! There were so many wonderful thoughts & comments that we have been pouring over and working through. Stay tuned, as we have some exciting things we are working on to present to you in late Summer/early Fall.
April was a busy month with off-site events, festivals & IBD day. “Thank You” to all who stopped by the bookstore & participated in our IBD 2025 festivities (we are keeping the “Favorite Book” wall up for a while longer because it is just too great to take down!).
Another “Thank You” shoutout to all those who stopped by tent #034 at the LA Times Festival of Books, what a whirlwind of an adventure! It was a joy meeting new faces and seeing some of our favorite faces & hanging with amazing authors. We can’t wait to go back next year…whose in??
